The Misfits Ball is a grandiose masquerade, so in true Misfits tradition, guests must be in costume to attend. We endeavor to keep the Ball an upscale event so please dress appropriately. We like sexy costumes, but not sexually explicit! No nudity or sexually lewd costumes will be allowed! Please keep your costumes dry (no dripping blood, etc.) The Ballroom is accessed by a stairway. Make sure you can easily traverse the venue in your costume!
How does the costume contest work?
There are 3 categories for the costume contest: best couple, most creative, and crowd favorite. Our Creative Team members will be moving through the crowd during the evening and will select the winners for the first three categories. Crowd favorite will be awarded by crowd response. To cut down on time, our team will preselect the top ten contestants in the Crowd Favorite category. Winners will be announced at midnight. To win, you must be present at midnight!
Is there an age limit?
This is an “adults only” event. No one under 21 will be allowed in! No exceptions!
What else is included with my ticket?
Once you enter the event, everything is complimentary, including a full bar, food and entertainment. However, you should bring enough cash to tip your bartenders (they are volunteers).
Some other things to remember…
All of our bartenders are TABC certified. We want everyone to have a great time, but if you become too intoxicated you will be cut off!
There will be uniformed police officers on location throughout the night. No act of violence will be tolerated.
We are hosting this event at a new venue this year, and we’re happy to announce that everything will be wheelchair accessible!
